Dear host family,

First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Nichakorn and you can call me Nice. My family have 4 people including my father, mother, an elder brother and me. At home, we also have a dog and his name is Zero. Our family activities are ride a bike with my dad, play board game with my mother and brother, have dinner at restaurant. I enjoy camping with my sibling too. I also help for house chores such as washing dishes, sweeping the floor, and cooking.

For my character, I am an easy-going person. I like to change hard to be an easy thing. When I assist my friend who is a model to walk for recycle fashion show, I show him how to walk and tell him about the trick for walking more beautiful. I love to do new stuff for gaining new experience. For example, I have an opportunity to do activities at school, I will not hesitate to join such as being a flag bearer at school’s event. I am also a friendly person who loves to know new people. I participated a school camp and can make many new friends. I enjoy walking at the park for relaxing and see ducks. I have a good sense of humor. I usually see the funny side of things and laugh a lot. Moreover, I like reading fantasy books about Greek gods such as Percy Jackson because I like Greek mythology that explains in a form of a fairy tale. I love to fold the paper too like butterfly, star, rose, and basic dinosaur. At first my mother taught me and I think it is fun. Then I start finding more ideas to fold. I am also interested in riding a bike, sketch a picture, and edit video too. When I have free time in the morning I like exercise especially swimming because I can use all muscles and help me sleep easily.

At school, I have 10 close friends and we usually eat together and hang out at the mall. I normally meet my friends at cafeteria every morning, go to class, and always have lunch together. My favorite subject is art because I like drawing and create new drawing from my own creativity. Another subject that I like is science because I love experiment and take note about what I did for our new knowledge. The club that I am a member is Public Relations club which provides announcements and open music at school in the morning. I join this club because I got an inspiration from fictional story that is about playing music in the morning. When I start opening songs, I know exactly that I like this type of duty so much. Now I am vice president of this club. Activities that I do with school are a lot. For example, in sports day I was a sign holder for the color team and currently I am the head of the flag bearer and the color team. My responsible is to create poster for recruiting members, teach team about the pattern, and give advice about their costume. I am a member of Conserve Energy (CSE) organization club too. Once a year we will prepare an educational camp for children to educate them about energy, how to organize wastes, water and electricity. I also keep checking all classes about electricity uses and check the toilet about water uses. To join the activity help me the care on using energy.

To be an exchange student, I would like to exchange Thai culture with the host family and people in the community. I would like to make more new friends and learn local traditional cultures. This can be my interesting and great experience abroad. I love to spend time to hang out with the host family and do things together such as baking, playing board game, and language learning. I wish to exchange gifts with the host family in Christmas time. I also like to share about Songkran festival because it is Thai traditional new year’s day. Another exciting festival is Halloween because I love to dress up fancy, go trick or treat and decorate the house with the host if you wish. I am so excited to meet and become a part of your family.

See you soon.

Nice
