My name is Ane.

I am kind, affectionate, sociable, talkative, helpful and a little shy.

I would love to spend a year in the United States because my older sister went and had a great experience. Since my sister did an exchange year, I realize how much I would want to go too. I love her very much and we have a very good relationship, we rely on each other for anything. When me and my sister were little kids, we also had a good relationship, but since we are four years apart, when we were little that age gap was noticeable, but now that I’m older, we talk about similar things, and enjoy doing things that apply both of our interests, and I honestly have the best time. I tell her everything, and we have a lot of trust in each other.

I have a very good relationship with all my family members, we are very close and spend as much time as possible together, especially in the summer. I normally travel with my mom, dad and older sister and that's who I spend most of the time with. We also had traveled with our grandparents (my dad's parents) and we enjoyed it very much.

Finally, what I love most is traveling. I adore traveling, I love learning about the cultures, seeing the places, trying the typical food, learning at least a word of the language where I am, and to enjoy it.

Besides that, I also spend a lot of time with my dad’s aunt. We have a great relationship, and she's like a grandmother for my sister and I. As well, when I was little my sister and I also traveled with our other grandparents (my mom’s parents), and we loved it too. Nowadays, we don’t travel with them as much not only because they are older, but also because my sister and I are too. As we get older our schedules get fuller and we have less time to share with them.

Apart from that, I have two younger cousins (from my mom's part). We have a very lovely relationship, even though they are much younger than me.

I also love being with friends, I love being with friends, and to socialize with people from other schools and towns because it’s cool, and I love to meet new people.

My hobby is horse riding, and I enjoy it a lot! I’ve been riding horses since I was 11 more or less, and although I like it, I also want to try other sports when I am in the U.S., like cheerleading. I also love to cook; I normally help my dad to cook, but I can cook by myself, and I'm good at it. I enjoy making new recipes and what I like more is to eat it when I finish it. I make a lot of desserts, like brownies, cookies, muffins…

My goals in life would be to get my studies, get a job, a family, new experiences and overall learn as much as I can. My goals during my exchange year in the U.S. are to get perfect English, make friends, get in a team (cheerleader if it’s possible), have a good relationship with my host family, and live the American dream.
