Hi dear future host family,

I would like to introduce my self. I am Sonia, and I am 14 years old. I am an active person and I like to take advantage of time practice sports, walk with my family and friends in downtown and play with children and animals. l’m very sociable, I like talk with a lot of people and I know how to listen while I learn from it. I am a person who likes to plan and organize my tasks.

I live in Spain, with my parents and my sister. We have a big family and we like to spend time with them thanks to the fact that we all live very close. I have 9 cousins in my mother’s family and all of them are older than me, so I feel very loved and cared by them. And I have 3 cousins in my father’s family they are closer to my age and I can share games, experiences and time with them. We spend this time with my grandparents, we cook and play board games. Some of my uncles have dogs and I love helping them to take the dog out.

I have one sister. She is older than me and she is 16 years old. We have a good relationship. We spend a lot of time together, for example, playing badminton, go to the gym, go shopping, go to downtown… We go to the same high school, she helps me with my homework and studying some subjects.

I also love children and one afternoon a week I help a 7 year old girl with her homework, because one of the ideas I have to be older is to be a teacher. Another idea I have that I would like to be when I grow up is to be an architect or interior designer, because I like the decoration and building things.

When I will stay there I would like to grow up personally, to improve with english language, and to know new cultures. I would like learn how do you live in the US and how is it different to go to high school there. And to enjoy and celebrate the typical holidays there, for example, Halloween, Thanksgiving and local fairs.

My hobbies are cooking, listening music, going shopping, hanging out with my friends and eating food from different countries. 

I'm looking forward to share with you this hobbies, my culture, my language, my typical food and the most important my joy. 

My passion is going to the beach and enjoying my friends that I only see there once a year.
