Hello,

I like to think of myself as a trustworthy person, someone who you can be able to express your feelings without feeling bad or embarrassed. I am also a very happy person and I love to be around new people and socialize, nevertheless I can sometimes be a tiny bit annoying but that is just because I like talking and being an active person. As I said, I like being an active person and some hobbies of mine are dancing, especially basque dances and dancing to pop music; learning how to cook; painting/drawing, mostly landscapes; and my favorite thing to do is to play basketball. I have quite a unique combination of passions in my opinion, one of my passions is to play basketball, it just helps me disconnect from outside problems. My other passion is being around little kids and pets; as it is one of my goals in life to be able to achieve a career that involves having kids around, for instance, a teacher. I also hope that I help people around the world and actually make a difference in the world.

I live with my mom, dad and brother, but we don’t spend that much time together inside the house during the week; that is because both of my parents work while me and my brother go to school. My mom works as an administrator in a bank office and my dad works as a docker in a port. I consider my relationship with my parents and brother really good. Every Sunday, we go out to eat in a restaurant in our town with some of my parents' friends, also, every Saturday we go to my grandparents house. I have only got a grandmother and a grandfather from my mom’s side. We go every Saturday to have lunch and my aunt, uncle and cousin also tag along. Nowadays my grandmother is doing very well for her age, but my grandfather on the other hand, not so much. Similarly to my relationship with my parents and my brother, I feel like I have a great relationship with my cousin who is currently abroad in an erasmus in Chile; apart from that he took advantage of his opportunity and has visited many more countries, for instance: Peru and Argentina. I feel like we have this kind of relationship because we practically grew up together and since he is an only child, we kind of made it seem like he was another sibling. He is finally coming back in January and I couldn't be more excited!

Going to study abroad is a great opportunity, and I hope that I am able to make the most out of it. Some of the reasons why I want to study abroad are because I want to be able to communicate fully in English and learn about the culture and way of life of the United States. Another reason is because I want to meet new people and make new long-lasting friendships as well as having the best experience of my life.
