Hi!

I'm a teenage girl, and I’m studying 10th grade. Currently I’m living in an urban city, a really beautiful city that’s located in the north of Spain, near the cantabric sea. Furthermore, I’ve been living in this city since I was a child, as I have just grown in here. Although the city is not too big, it’s usually overcrowded. Nevertheless, it’s really cozy and I love it. My neighbourhood which is the old area of the city and one of its most beautiful areas as well.

My brother, who is older than me, is still studying the last grade before college and he is doing very well. Last year, he went as an exchange student to U.S.A., to Indiana and he really enjoyed it. Even if we sometimes argue, we are never mad to each other for more than an hour. We really like beeing together and we are accustomed to doing lot of things together. Despite the age difference, our parents have always treated us the same. The rules and the obligations set on us have always been the same for both.

My mother, is a really productive woman. She enjoys cooking desserts, such as cakes, muffins, ice creams… The bread in my house is always home-made by her. She also likes doing sport, not only she goes to a gym every morning but also she goes to the mountain with friends or family. Every night we watch a TV program together that is about general culture and maths. When I was younger we used to go shopping together, nowadays we don’t go that often due to don’t matching schedules, but we still hang out sometimes.

My mother met my father with 18 years and they started dating when my mother was 20. Even though they have been dating near 20 years, they married 4 years ago and of course my brother and I went to their wedding. It was such a great experience; I will never forget it. My father is one year older than my mother, and, as my mother, he is also very productive man. We share the same hobbies, we both love music and playing the guitar, in fact, he was the one who encouraged me to take guitar lessons. We like going to the mountain together, walking or cycling. And we also enjoy playing the guitar together or even making new song together.

Talking about music, I would say that music it’s my biggest hobbie. I started playing music with 5 years, I took one lesson per week. But after pandemic, the teacher who taught me, stoped teaching and I left music aside for a year, until, I tried to learn to play the guitar. Even thought I really wanted to learn, it was too difficult for me, so I started playing the ukulele. It was so much easier and more comfortable, so I started playing it in front of friends while they sang and it was so much fun. That was the moment I realised I really liked entertaining people. After couple of months when I really improved on ukulele, I tried again with acoustic guitar, and this time it was so much easier. I played and played every day for 2 hours with non stop. Even though I already knew how to play 3 instruments, I wanted to learn how to play the electric guitar, so when I realise that my father had one in our basement, I begged him to let me play the guitar. He fist thought that it wasn’t a great idea but after he saw how much I enjoyed learning, he end up letting me play it.

But well, I’ve talked enough about music, and music isn’t my only hobbie, I also like things that have to do with logic. Puzzels, math problems and enigmas for example. Math is my favorite subject in school, I always get good grades and I enjoy doing exercises. But sometimes, I get a little bored because, I see everything too logical and easy, so if it isn’t something hard for my mind I don’t enjoy it. And now that I’m talking about maths, I am going to talk about my future plans or goals, because in college I want to study maths, and I’m not sure in what job I want to work when I grow up, but I know that I wouldn’t mind beeing a teacher.

Talking about more personal things about my future, I have planned to still be living in the city I currently live in. I would like to have a family but I feel like I’m too young to think about that kind of things. What I know is that I would like to still be in the rugby club I’m currently in.

The only thing I know and I’m sure about, is that when I’m staying in the U.S. I want to do every kind of activities. I want to make lot of new friends and meet new people, make new experiences, and also I would love not beeing embarassed of nothing. Because I’m only going to spend 10 months of my life, and I would like to dare to play music or singning in front of people.

So, I think that this is pretty much everything you have to know about me if you want to spend 10 months with me.
