My name is Pablo. I live in a small city in the north of Spain, really close to France. It is surrounded by mountains, it also has some beautiful beaches.

I am a little shy but when I gain confidence I can be a very fun guy. I consider myself a little bit lazy but when something is important I'll work hard for it. Since I'm a fun guy, I'm always searching for a way to make people smile and laugh.

I live with my mom, dad and sister. My mother works as a customs agent. My father is a technical architect. My sister is going to university. On my mother's side I have 2 grandparents. I usually see them because they live near my house. On my father's side I have a grandfather who we only visit when we go to Madrid, as my family on my fathers side is from Madrid.

In my freetime I like to do sports and hang out with my Friends. Sometimes, when I'm really bored, I like to play video games

My hobbies are playing basketball and skiing. On one hand, I've been playing basketball for 2 years. I play on my school team and I think I'm pretty good at it. When I started playing I was very bad but constantly wanted to find ways to improve. I usually play matches on the weekend. Although we are not a very good team we manage to still win some matches.

On the other hand, I've been skiing for longer than I remember. I know I started at a young age but I don't know with precision how old I was. My parents tell me that I do it very well but in my opinion I could do it way better. I only go skiing 2 weeks a year, one week in christmas and another week in easter week.

I have a few goals in my life: I always want to beat my problems in the best way possible and when I don't succeed I search for the best way to fix it. In addition, my most recent goal is to be able to go spend an academic year at the USA

My achievements during this program are to learn English and speak it fluently just because nowadays English is very important l. I also like the language a lot and this will be a great opportunity to immerse myself in the language and the culture. And i find really interesting the lifestyle of other cultures, therefore i would love to have the opportunity to study abroad in the USA. I'm pretty sure this will be an unforgettable experience, not just for me, but also for the host family, so I'll try my best fulfilling their needs, and as I like to travel, this will be the perfect opportunity to get to know all the corners of our world.
