Hello,

My name is Katalin, and I´m an active person. When I stay at home  because there is bad weather, I like playing video games, board games,... Also, when I have time, I try to be helpful at home emptying the dishwasher, preparing dinner,…

I live in a big flat with my mum, dad, my twin sister, my younger sister and my grandma. My grandma has seven children so when we celebrate my grandmas birthday we get together with my 12 aunts/uncles, my grandma and her sister, also the 16 cousins plus 2 boyfriend/girlfriend and the wife of my eldest cousin and his daughter that is 1.5 years old.

I have a twin sister and a younger sister.  My twin and I have the same group of friends and we all go to the same school. In summer we also hang out with the people of other schools. We go to the beach and we make plans with them. My younger sister has her own group of friends. But when we are at home on a rainy day we play a lot together and we also like cooking cakes and cookies.

I have a lot of hobbies. The main one is playing basketball. I´ve been playing basketball since we could play at the school team at 7 years old. Now we train 3 times a week and play almost every Saturday. Two of my cousins play in the second league. When I can I try to go  and see them.

I also like watching soccer. I am a follower of the Athletic Club. When I was younger I used to play soccer, but I had to decide between soccer and basketball and  I chose basketball. This doesn´t mean I don´t know how to play, I have the basic knowledge of the ball control, like passing and shooting.

The last two years we went skiing with the school. For me the best one is snowboard, but I only have the basic knowledge such as how to turn and how to stop.

Listening to music is another of my hobbies. My favourite singers are Rihanna, Coldplay, Bruno Mars , Eminem,…  I also like watching movies, some of my favourites are Pirates of the Caribbean, Deadpool, Avengers, and many others.

My biggest goal in life is traveling around the world. I want to travel the world to experience things that I won´t be able to do at my home country. My other goal is to work in a business that allows me to travel, so I would be closer to achieve my biggest goal.

My biggest goal during the program is the experience of living in another country with another family and in a different school while I improve my english as much as I can.

My passions are playing basketball, watching soccer, listening to music and watching movies, and going to the beach with my friends during the summer. I have been playing basketball since I was a child and I will continue playing. When I have the opportunity I love going to the stadium to watch the match life, but if I can´t I try not to miss to see the match at home. I love listening to music and watching movies. If I feel sad for some reason, these things make me feel better.
