Exchange Student Finder |
Dear future host family, Dear Sir/ Madam from my future school,
my name is Dominik and I'm really looking forward to meeting you soon! I'm 15 years old and and I´m in the 10th grade of a high school. I live with my family in a small town in Germany with 74000 residents. My family includes 5 persons. My father, my motherand my two siblings. My brother works as an assistent manager for cyber security in a big company. My sister is completing a dual cours of study for auditors. She also spent a year in the USA as an exchange student 3 years ago. Her former host parents live in Texas. She encouraged me to do an exchange year too.I've decided to do an exchange year to get to know new cultures, improve my language skills and have unforgettable experiences. I also have a 73 years old grandma (all of my other grandparents died before I got to know them.).
In my free time, I'm interested in playing piano. I´ve learned it since I was 9 years old. I do a lot of sports. I go to the gym to improve myself. In school I play volleyball. I like running. With my father and my sister I will run a 10 km-run. I like to spend time with my friends for example playing video games with them. I´m a member of the volunteering fire department and at school I´m a member of the first aider team. I like doing things in a team. I'm curious and open to new things and I hope to share many exciting experiences during my stay with you.
I'm looking forward to getting to know your culture and traditions and maybe sharing some of my own with you. It would be great to spend time together, whether it's cooking, going on excursions or just relaxing at home. I'm very interested in becoming part of your family and supporting you in your everyday activities.
I speak German, English and I also learn Latin at school. I am motivated to improve my language skills and hope that we can talk a lot.
I am an extroverted person that enjoys meeting new people and hearing their opinion of life. I am a christian and try to be a better person every day. My friends often tell me that I am a good listener and a good friend. My goals in life are to have a good payed job and a happy family. My goals during my time in the USA are to make as many great memories as possible and to boost my education. I don’t really know what my passions are yet but right now I would say that it’s my endurance if I want to implement something.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live and study with you. I can't wait to get to know you and spend an exciting time together!
Best regards
Dominik.
