Dear family,
I'm M. and I'm that boy that will, hopefully, stay with you for almost an entire year! I'm an italian teenager in northen italy and i live with my parents and my sister. Usually they describe me as a hard-worker, a responsible person who was well educated by my parents on how to behave in various situations, like cooking for myself, how to live properly in a society and how to respect others. I can adapt pretty much easily with any situation and all my family and friends think that I'll enjoy this year far from home while improving my skills, in particular in english.
As i said earlier i live with my parents and my sister. My dad is a policeman and my mom is a factory worker. My sister is a nurse. We all have a strong bond and love eachother but I have a special bond with my sister, because we spend a lot of time together and often go out to eat with friends. I also have a brother who lives with his wife and daughter who often visits us to eat together.
At the moment i'm in "3 liceo scienze applicate" that in america is 11th year. Here in italy you can't choose what subject you want to during highschool but you can choose wich one you want to go; there are many tipes like mine that are more about sciences and maths but if you want you can go to a psicology highschool or a sports one. I've chosen the most scientific one 'cause i love maths, phisics, science and I.T.(my type of highschool is the only one with I.T.); I'm doing well in school in these subjects and we can say good even with non-science subjects like history and art.
I'm hoping to experience American school to the fullest.
Almost every day, when I'm not studying, i go to my room to play with my friends on my computer. We talk to eachother through discord and we play almost every type of games like Satisfactory, Euro Truck Simulator 2, War Thunder and sometimes even minecraft.
Three times a week (on tuesdays, thursdays and frydays) i go play volleyball fom 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. I fell in love with this sport the first time i've seen it: i love watching it, i love playing it and love improving every day. I'm not the best at it but my coach says i'm improving every day, little by little. I really hope to play during this yearn and if i really can't because it's impossible i'll still be in shape so when i return home i'll be ready to return playing again at my max.
My typical day starts at about 5:30 in the morning when my mom wakes me up to have breakfast. Then at 6 a.m. she goes to work while I study for the day. At 7 I get ready for school and at 7:20 my dad drives me to school wich ends at 1 p.m. When I get home, after lunch, I usually relax for about one hour and then i start studying. If I have to study, after about an hour and a half i stop playing and start studying; at the end I either have dinnerwith my family or I go to practice and then have dinner with my family. After all of this either I play more on my pc or I study. My day usually ends at 11 p.m. but It depends on how much I have to study.
I really appreciated the time you've spent reading this letter and if you really want to get to know me better you'll have to host me for this year. I think that in that case there will be enough time to know eachother better.
Hope to see you soon,
M.
