Dear Family,
I'm G. a sixteen years old girl, with wonderful qualities. I'm a funny person, a lovely one and I'm also very active. I consider myself responsible and intelligent, and also very curios about the things that interest me. I'm easily fascinated since I see the good and the beauty in everything, maybe it's because I'm sort of an artist, but from what I remember I've always been like that. I really enjoy drawing and painting, I even chose to go to an art school here in Italy to go on with my passions.
I live near the center of the city with my family. My mom, is a very sensible person, but I'm always ready to comfort her, hugging her or just listening to her talking. My dad, on the other side is just the opposite. He likes staying by his own, not talking so much, but he is always ready to listen to me rumbling about random things. I also have a sister, a younger one. She is very energetic, talking in every possible moment about everything that comes to her mind. With her I can laugh no-stop, we can talk about anything and we'll be always sure that we'll never be bored together.
Like I said before I go to an art school. We draw and sculpt, and I consider myself a good artist. I've always liked drawing, since kindergarten, but of course now I'm better at it. My favorite subjects are History of Art, since I love talking about it, and Literature. I consider Literature a form of art: words are our way of expressing our thought, and our thought describes us, and I think that everyone is art, so why shouldn't words be? I love reading poems, and also debating about them, because it's wonderful how everyone from just one phrase can understand so much things, that relate to their lives, so of course every opinion is different from each other. I just love understanding how people see the world.
I also love reading. I think it's closely related to understanding people, because when you read a book you play another person, and reading his though can change your way of seeing things.
In my free time I like to go out on walks, mainly by myself, listening to music, but I also enjoy going on walks with other people.
As I said, I love listening to music in every possible moment, and also I don't have a type of music that I like or that I dislike, I just listen to everything.
I'm a sporty girl, I play volleyball, now for 5 years, but in my life I've done a lot of sports, such as: gymnastic, ice-skating, hip-hop, basketball, swimming and baseball.
I've also been part of scout, going out on weekend or during vacation, going on walks or hiking into the woods, also sleeping in tent or in a hammock.
Another passion of mine is learning new things. I'm always up to somethings, learning a new language, a new sport or reading up on politics.
So if I put everything I do together, my day would look more or less like this: I wake up in the morning, a bit early to have all the time to prepare myself to school. I like to do my makeup and hair on mornings, just to be sure that I'm starting the day in a right way. Then I have breakfast and go to school. For lunch time I return home, prepare myself something to eat and then do the homework. In the late afternoon I go to the training that last normally 2 hours. Then I return back home and have dinner with my family. Instead, on weekends I like to wake up late, to regain the sleep lost during the week. Then I get up and prepare myself to meet my grandparents. When we get to their house we eat lunch all together talking about our weeks, and discussing the topics exposed by the news. After, my sister and I help our grandma washing the dishes, and then we all go out for a walk. We mostly go to the park, where my parents and grandparents can sit and talk, and me and my sister can go around and play together. Then for dinner we get back home, and go to sleep after.
Many thanks to all of you,
G.
