Dear family,
I'm M. and I am 16 years old. I live in a small town near my school in northern Italy. I have 2 siblings: a brother and a sister. I lived in Egypt for the first seven years of my life. In those years I attended a Canadian school and there I had a lot of friends of different nationalities.

I am a sociable person but sometimes I am also shy with people that I don't know very well. Every summer I go to a summer church camp where I help the priest and other adults to take care of the children who go to the camp.

I am a sporty person, in fact I practice gymnastics since I was seven years old, i practice it twice a week for a total of four hours and rarely I have other trainings on other days that are not on the same day of when I have it usually; from february to may I also have some competitions where I compete against other gymnastics to see what level we have reached that year.

We are five people in my family: me, my brother, my sister, my mother, and my father. I share my room with my sister since she was born. At home I help by cleaning my room and my bathroom, usually I have to prepare lunch for me, my sister, my brother and my mom because I am always the first to arrive at home but sometimes my brother helps me. I always arrive first at home because I go to school near my house and I finish everyday at 1 pm. I go to school from Monday to Saturday and I always finish at 1 pm. My favourite subjects are science, PE and english and my least favourite is history of art. My brother and my sister don't attend my school but they go to another one, they go to a school that is further away from mine and our home. Every day I wake up at 6.40 am and I start getting dressed with the clothes I prepared the day before, then I have breakfast with milk and some cocoa powder in it and some biscuits. After breakfast I comb my hair and brush my teeth. At 7.30 am I go to school by car, sometimes with my mother and sometimes with my neighbour. We arrive at school at 7.45 am and the school bell rings at 7.55 am. We have five hours at school and we have a little break of fifteen minutes from 10.50 am to 11.05 am, then we return to studying again. We finish school at 1pm and I arrive home at 1.45 pm because I return home by bus. I start preparing lunch and at 2.15 pm my siblings and my mother arrive home and we have lunch. At 3 pm I start doing my homework and I do them until 5pm or until I haven't finished them. On Tuesday and Thursday I have gymnastics at 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, and I arrive home at 9.05 pm at home, I have a shower and I wash my hair and then I go to sleep at 10.15 pm. I usually don't do homework after training because I am a little tired after it so I try to do as much as possible before it. Sometimes when I am home alone, I like to bake a cake, sometimes I bake it because it is the birthday of one of my family members, other times because I am bored and I don't know what to do. My cakes are appreciated from all my family, also from my grandparents, my aunt, my uncle and my cousins.
