Hi! My name is Marta,

First of all, I just want to say thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and opening your family to me. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t even express how excited I am to be living and studying in your country, and share this amazing experience with you.

I’d love to share a little bit about myself so you can get to know me better.

I’m someone who loves spending time with my friends and family, trying new things, and discovering new places. I enjoy simple things like listening to music, reading, or watching a sunset, but I also love being active and sharing good moments with others. I love making others laugh and making them feel comfortable around me.

I have a great relationship with my family. I live with my parents and my brother, and we all get along really well. My grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles are also a big part of my life, they’ve taught me to appreciate the small things, and I’m so lucky to have their love and support. I’ve always felt that family is the reason of who I am today, and I’m so grateful for mine.

During my time abroad, I hope to improve my language skills, create amazing memories, and experience a new way of life, but most of all, I hope to connect with your family, to get to know each other, and to make you feel comfortable and happy around me. I want us to enjoy this time together and make lasting memories.

I want to step out of my comfort zone, grow as a person, and make one of my childhood dreams come true. This has been something I’ve wanted to do since I was little, and I believe it’s the perfect way to start discovering the world. My mom also did an exchange program in the United States when she was young, and she often shared her experience with me. Seeing her photos and hearing her stories made me want to live that adventure myself, and ever since, I’ve dreamed of studying in the U.S. It’s not about following in her footsteps but about creating my own experience.

I’ve always been fascinated by the U.S., and I feel like if a place has captured my heart this much, there must be a special reason for it.

One of my biggest goals in life is to live as many experiences as possible and see the entire world. I dream of traveling to different countries, meeting new people, and learning about cultures that are completely different from my own. I believe that’s what makes life so exciting.

My biggest passion is connecting with people, whether it’s through conversations, shared experiences, or just spending time together. I love hearing other people’s stories and perspectives, and I know this exchange will be an incredible way to do that.

Thank you so much for considering me for this opportunity. I can’t wait to meet you, learn about your family and community, and start this dream of mine together.

Marta
