Dear futute host family,

my name is Isabelle and I have two siblings.

I am the oldest of three children. I have a younger sister and a younger brother. Me and my sister dance together, which is one of the reasons of why my sister and I are closer than my brother and I. My sister and I have a close relationship. My brother and I have a good relationship.

My parents are separated, but I still spend enough time with both of them. Most of the time, I live in a house with my mom and my siblings, but we spend every second weekend in my dads' apartment, and we go to his apartment every Tuesday and Thursday to spend some time with him.

My grandparents on my moms side stay mostly at home, where my grandmother is sewing or watching TV and my grandfather is working in his office. My grandparents on my dads side are the sporty grandparents. They go hiking and climbing frequently, and go skiing every year with my family and me. My dads' side of the family all get together every year for one week around Easter to spend some time together hiking, playing games and climbing.

My hobbies are dancing, reading and skiing in winter. Reading makes me feel relaxed and calm, which is why I read before I go to bed. I also like to watch TV and shows on Netflix. I also enjoy spending time with my family. Another interest of mine is going shopping with my friends and talking about our lives.

My goals in life are securing a well paying job and buying my own home. Another goal of mine is to stay in contact with all of my loyal friends. 

My goals during the stay abroad are meeting new people and getting to know another culture. I also want to get to know the differences between a normal day at home and a day in the USA. I want to make new friends and experience a school day in another country. My goal is to have an unforgettably good year and to make a lot of good memories.
