Hii! I´m Ale which is short for Alejandra,I hope that you are having a nice day. I am aplaying to the J-1 program, and I am going to tell you about myself;I am 14 years old and I am an only child and I wish to have host brothers or sisters or even both. I have a grandmother from my father´s side which I usually visit on a sunday afternoon  and a grandad from my mother´s side and I like playing a spaish card game called "escoba" and he lets me win from time to time. My dad has 4 siblings so we are kind of a big family , I´m the first girl because all my 5 older cousins are boys so I´m my grandma´s spoiled little girl but I also have 6 younger cousins and 2 of them are girls but I get along better with my older cousins. My mom has one older sister and a younger sister , she´s the middle child, from my mother´s side of the family I get really well with everyone , especially with my older cousin who I see as a sister.

My hobbies are going out on friday afternoons with my bestfriend or going to a city close to where I live to meet up with some friends or going with my  family to another province to visit some family but most weekends I have to be at home studying.I also like going to play tennis on fridays when I finish school or going on saturday mornings surfing with some friends when I finish going to the swimming club. I also like going skiing in winter. In addition to what I just wrote I like going out for walks being with my family and friends and I love a good family gathering, because we always play board games. 

I see myself in five years studying medicine to then become a pediatric surgeon and search a potencial cure for cancer. I would like to do a scientific bachellor´s degree first, when I finish my exchange year. My goals during my exchange year are to:

• Make long-lasting friendships 
• Get really well with my host family
• Get to know the american culture and experience it.
• Develop independence and adaptability
• Join clubs, participate in group activities, and be open to new friendships

My passion is to be with my family and friends and to go out or a having a family game board night, or the tradicion that your family has. My future passion as I wrote is to be a pediatric surgeon , but for know it´s to learn cultures and travel.
