Hello,

I´m Alice, I´m fifteen years old and I always want to learn and improve. I consider myself kind and responsible. Additionally, I value honesty and empathy a lot in the people around me. I consider myself a good friend because I try to help whenever I can, because I´m good at listening to others and I worry about them.

I live in Spain with my family, my father works as an IT specialist and my mother is a housewife. They are usually at home when I arrive from school so I spend a lot of time with them and that's why we have such a good relationship. My grandparents live in the same city as us so my maternal grandmother visits us during the week, and I usually visit my paternal grandparents on weekends, although sometimes I also see them during the week.

I have 2 siblings, an elder sister and a younger brother. Now that my sister and I are more or less in the same stage of life we can understand each other and we have a better relationship than before. My brother is a very good child, I like how he thinks and although he is little I like that he has great goals in life. We have always taken care of each other and I'm very glad for our good relationship.

I like spending time with my family. For example, we all like painting, so sometimes we paint all together in the living room and we draw pictures of the same topic. We also like watching movies or series, so we usually do it on weekends. In my free time, I also enjoy reading. I read books of different genres, although I've really been enjoying thrillers. For example, I really enjoyed the book The Maid by Freida McFadden. It's about a girl who gets out of jail and needs a job. No one wanted to hire her because of her past, but suddenly she is hired as a maid in the Winchester´s house and begins to discover the family’s secrets.

I usually read in Spanish, sometimes I read in English for school, and I understand it very well, so I could start reading in English too. I’ve been playing piano since I was little, I have piano lessons once a week and I usually go with my sister who also plays piano. I also enjoy watching soccer matches. I’ve been to my city's stadium, and I liked it a lot. I think that sports here should be celebrated as in the United States because it’s much more attractive, although I like how they are celebrated here. When I go to my paternal grandparents' house, I watch American football with my grandfather because he enjoys it, and we like watching it together.

I don't know what I'm going to study in the future but I’m sure I’m going to finish high school, and then I will go to university. I just need to think about my doubts and start knowing myself better. I want to study something I really like in university so I can work on it in the future.

I’m really excited to go to the United States because I want to learn more about other cultures and about American traditions from my own experience. I also enjoy listening to others speaking in English because I like their accent and the way they express themselves, so I think it’s a great opportunity to improve my English skills. I also want to know new people and learn about how they live. Additionally, I believe it’s a good opportunity to visit places I've never been to. I’m also looking forward to watching American football games in person, probably in high school. I hope to know myself better and discover something I really like during this time, so that I can see what I can work on in the future.

In conclusion, I look forward to growing and discovering new things about myself, through studying, experiencing other cultures, or spending time with my family. I’m ready to face the challenges that are coming, and I’m positively thinking about what is coming next.
