Dear American Family,

I hope this letter finds you well,
My name is Fatine, and I am a 16-year-old Moroccan girl. I am very enthusiastic, social, and open-minded. I come from a tight-knit family: mom, dad, older brother, older sister, and me. Family time has always been a big deal to us, from game nights and movie nights to rallying behind our Moroccan team during matches. Although my sister has moved to Paris, most of the liveliness in our home is brought about by Chico, my Turkish Van cat, and my hamster Kiko. Making memories with my family fills me with so much joy. These experiences have taught me many lessons, most importantly confidence and eagerness to embrace adventures and changes the future may bring.

I help out my family by taking care of a few things at home: keeping my personal space clean and neat, sometimes cooking food when my parents are busy, doing laundry if needed, washing dishes after meals, and helping with light household chores. Another dear responsibility is taking care of our pets.

I am best described as having a multitude of interests, as I give anything that piques my curiosity at least one shot. I enjoy Model United Nations and debate because they offer an opportunity to voice my opinions and work in collaboration to resolve world problems. I also have a passion for graphic design and writing articles, which reflects my thoughts and shares them with others. Coding fascinates me, as it combines logic with creativity. Additionally, I research law because I am amazed by how it shapes society and technology.

My interests have contributed to the person I am today, with some of my friends met online and others in real life. Even though I belong to different friend groups, I have a small circle that I truly trust and hold close to my heart. Being around them brings me immense joy, whether we're watching movies, playing games, going for walks, or simply having conversations about anything, no matter how deep or light-hearted. The bond between us only grows stronger with time.

My city is known for its beautiful architecture, crowded markets, and proximity to the coast. It blends rich Moroccan culture with modern life. The people here are warm and welcoming, which might explain my desire to help others during tough times.

From a young age, I have been inspired by the study of law, especially after the movie Legally Blonde made a mark on my heart and incited interest in justice and further advocacy. A fun fact about me is that in my spare time, I enjoy researching legal issues. I developed an interest in technology during my growth, especially in coding and AI. I look forward to understanding how the law and technology interface, especially in areas of technology law and cybersecurity.

I would like to express my gratitude to my host family in advance for giving me the opportunity to create unforgettable memories with you. I'm excited to experience Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and any other traditions you may have for the first time. I'm also looking forward to embracing the American teenager experience with Prom, Homecoming, and joining new classes in a different environment, all while sharing my own culture with you.

Sincerely,
Your future host daughter
