Dear American Family,

Hello from the other side! What was the best thing you did today? Mine is writing this letter to you. I'm Kattabek, a 15-year-old student from Uzbekistan who is open-minded and full of energy. I'm excited about the possibility of joining your family and experiencing life in the United States. I currently live with my parents and my younger brother, who's 10. My family is very closeknit, and we spend a lot of time together, especially on weekends. We enjoy cooking meals together, talking with each other, and taking walks in the nearby park. Family time is very important to me, and I look forward to sharing stories about my family and hearing all about yours!

At home, I have responsibilities like keeping my room clean, helping my brother with his homework, doing outdoor work, and taking out the trash. Helping around the house has taught me responsibility, and I'm happy to help with any chores. I believe this is a great way to feel like part of the family.

In terms of my interests, I love swimming and soccer, especially when I feel a little tired, and I am passionate about technology. I learn coding and cybersecurity in my free time, I enjoy finishing different challenges. I am also interested in learning new sports such as American soccer or baseball and I want to organize friendly competitions with my new friends.

My friends and I enjoy doing a lot of activities together, such as going to the movies, playing sports, or even just sitting in a cafe talking about our dreams and plans. They are a big part of my life, and I hope to build similar lifelong friendships in the United States. I also have a few international friends whose perspectives I value. I love to volunteer for projects with my friends together I spend most of my week in the city where I go to school and the city is lively and filled with different places to explore, like parks and historical sites. However, on weekends, I get to go back to my village, which feels like a refreshing break. My village is peaceful and everyone is close and kind. I enjoy the balance of both worlds- it's taught me to adapt to different environments, whether it's the fast pace of the city or the calm of the village. I think this experience makes me more flexible, and I'm confident that I can adapt to life in the United States as well!

As for my future, I have a strong interest in technology and love learning about the latest advancements in coding, robotics, and app development. I'm fascinated by how tech can solve real-world problems and bring people together, no matter where they are from. I'm especially excited to learn about how technology is used in American schools and to see if there are any tech clubs or projects I can join. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of technology with others, and I hope to bring back new skills to inspire my friends and classmates back in my country.

Through this exchange experience, I hope to better understand American culture and lifestyle while sharing my traditions and background with you. I am excited about all the learning, friendships, and adventures that await. Thank you for reading my letter.

You're helping make the dreams of students like me come true! I'm sure we will have a wonderful time together!

Warm regards,

Kattabek
