Dear host family,

My name is Noémie and I am seventeen years old.
I have divorced parents since january, I also have an older brother, without of course forgetting my cat Kovou, that I have had since I was eight years old.

I spend the most of the time with my mom because I only see my dad a weekend every two weeks, we use to eat together, then I participate a little to house stains but more frequently during holidays because I have more time. We also share sometimes moments like going to the cinema, eat in restaurant, going to the bowling...

I took the bus by my own at 7:15am and when I arrive I have a friend who wait for me, then, we are expecting two other friends before enter in high school. I start class at 8 o'clock and I have lunch at 12:00 or at 1:00pm and most of the time I'm resuming class at 2:00pm. Furthermore, I usually finish class at 6:00pm. Besides, I take the bus and I arrive at home at 6:50pm.
On tuesday evening I go in a military center and I ride horses. That is an option that I have chosen with my school and now, I do it for three years. I also ride also horses at my club on wednesday evening for five years.
Then, concerning my work habits, I use to work every evening after coming back from school and also during week ends. My favorite subjects at school are English and sports. I also think that economy is very interesting but I don't really like physics chemistry because I find this subject very hard and I don't understand everything.

I like hanging out with my friends and laugh with them. I also enjoy shopping but I sometimes like to be alone listening music (I listen very often music) or watching series. I also adore animals especially cats, dogs and, of course horses. Sometimes, during my free times I try to study korean because I also would like to speak a little this language. I like making creative thing too. For exemple I a doing journaling, I write into it about memories and fun stories and I also do cutting and gluing, stick some photos with a quote. Furthermore, I like eating but I also love doing sport. I dance often in my room at home. By the way, in France I am in accompagned driving and I will soon get my French licence.

I think that I am a smily girl and I am quite funny when I am comfortable with people. I am quite empathic and if I can help I will try to do my best.

Besides, I decided to choose this destination beacause since little, America is a country that attracted me and I also wanted to experiment a scholar year in an American highscool, discover another culture different than in France, assist to sport games that I can't see in my country. I would like to become bilangue in English and I think that being in an English speaking country is the best opportunity to improve my language. I also think that being far from my family will be very difficult and rough but that will help me becoming more mature, independant and responsible.

I hope bringing hapiness to my family and maybe talk to them about French culture if they want. I would love teaching them new things as they will do with me. I hope that we will spend good time together and that we will share so many wonderful memories.

Redarding what I could bring to my school, I would enjoy helping my classmates if they are in difficulty about their French lessons. I am also volunteer to participate to some activities organized by the highschoool to help them, meet new people and also to forge a new experience to myself.
