Hello my host family,

My name is João Vítor and I'm really happy and thankful to be living with you for the next months. First of all, I'd like to point that I am really excited to live with you guys, because one of my goals is to improve my english skills, because it will help a lot in my profissional future. I also can't wait to learn about your culture and how it is different from mine own. Other thing that I'd like to point is that I can help you guys with chores in your house, like doing the dishes and organizing my room, that are things that I aways do at my house, so you don't need to worry about me beeing lazy, I am very helpful.

I'm really good at making new friends and I like to socialize, and for my special interests I like going to the gym and to play games. ne thing that I really would like to learn is to play drums and the american history, so the school will be a perfect place for me. Some other special interests of mine are watching movies and going out with friends. Other physical activities that I enjoy are swimming and I would like to learn box.

I believe I will struggle homesickness, missing my my family, girlfriend, and friends but I'm certain that I will endure it. My grilfriend and I have been talking about this trip and we are preparing ourselves for this long time apart seeing each other, so, when I go, I'm sure that we will be able to pass through it.

My relationship with everyone around me is pretty awseome, because we have a great connection and we are open for conversations, so we don't have many discussions. My grades are usually preety good and I don't struggle with anything at school at all. My birthday is in october twenty seven, so I'll turn eighteen during my program, and I'm really excited to be having my first birthday in the USA.

This will be my first time flying by plane and my first time in a different country, so that makes me really ansious and curious, and I'm really thankful that you will give me this opportunity. Talking about food, I really like a lot of things, so you won't need to worry about that.

About religion, I am a catholic person, but I respect all religions that are diferent from mine.

On my daily rotine, I just go to school and to the gym, and on mondays and wednesdays I go to my writing course, that is really important due to the fact that in Brasil we have an anual test that we can do to pass in some public universities, so I need to practice writing to go well on that test. On my rest days, I usually stay at home relaxing and on my vacations I go out with my friends and I see my girlfriend more often, and I really like going out to do other activities like shopping or going to somewhere new. I'm also open to do things in nature, like going camping, but I'm realy afraid of snakes.

The last thing I'd like to say is that I really like animals and kids and I always get along well with them.

So I would like again to thank you guys a lot for receiving me, you don't know how that will help myself, and, again, say that I'm realy ansious to go there and learn your culture and meet new people.

Thank you guys a lot for this opportunity, and be sure that I will behave well.

Best regards, João.
