Hi, I'm Santiago. At the beginning, when I meet new people, I tend to be a bit introverted, but once I gain confidence, I loosen up and I'm much more sociable. I love spending time with my friends, going out to explore new places, trying different food or just enjoying the moment together. I'm a fan of amusement parks, and the more extreme the rides, the better. Adrenaline is something that fascinates me, that's why extreme sports also catch my attention, although I haven't practiced many yet.
I also like animals a lot, especially dogs. I have two: a super energetic and playful Husky, and another little dog I rescued from the street, who is calmer. They are both part of my life and I love spending time with them. I have always felt empathy for animals that need help, and I like the idea of being able to do something for them.
As for my family, there are not many of us, but we are very close. I live with my dad, who is retired military, my mom, who is dedicated to the house, and my brother, who has a disability and therefore does not study. I want to work hard so that someday I can give my parents everything they have done for me. I also have my grandparents: my grandfather lives far away, but sometimes he comes to visit us, and my grandmother and cousin live nearby, so we know how to spend time together. Before, my cousin also spent a lot of time with us, but now she is in Spain doing a master's degree. The master's degree is for 1 year but there are only 6 months left before she finishes and comes back.
In my free time, I like to play soccer, hang out with my friends, watch movies and play video games. I also love to travel, see other countries and try new food.
In the future, I want to be someone recognized for doing something important. I also want to have a good salary so I can help my family and thank them for everything they have done for me. For that reason, I want to go to the United States to improve my academic level and learn English until I can speak it fluently. I know that this will open many doors for me when I return to Ecuador, and will help me to achieve my goals.
