Dear future host family and school

I consider myself a kind, generous, polite, funny and a responsable person. I like to meet new people and making them feel comfortable. I love to laugh and have a good time. My family and friends would describe me as a friendly and respectful person who enjoys helping others and likes learning new things.

Speaking of family, I have a wonderful relationship with all of them. I have a very good relation with my family because we meet in all the birthdays and we live near along us. My grandparents are very important for me, only my grandmother (the mother of my mother) and my grandfather (the father of my father) are alive. I also have six cousins from 8 to 17 years and we spent a lot of time together and we have a very good time. My parents are divorced, but we have a “nesting house” arrangement, in which I stay in the same house while my parents comes to the same house one week each (I have never suffered because of their divorce). I also have a great relationship with my siblings (I have a smaller brother and an older sister). I have always had a very good relationship with my brother because I am 14 months older than him and the age difference is very little so I have always played with him (soccer, in the park, videogames…). I have had a good relationship with my sister always (she is 3 years older than me). In fact, my sister also went to USA and she had an amazing experience. 

In my free time, I have some hobbies. The sport that I have practised during all my life is judo, a sport that I practice regularly and enjoy very much. I also love to watch and play soccer, especially my favorite team, the Athletic Club. In addition, I am scout so I enjoy go outdoors and go on camping. On weekends, I usually hang out with my friends, and we usually walk around town, talk, and have a good time together. I love being active and I love doing plans such as going to the cinema, bowling, watching a soccer game in a stadium, going to the mountain, going to the beach. In fact, in my life I have practiced a lot of sports such as soccer, swimming, tennis and skiing. Apart from those I have tried more sports but for a less time like surfing, paddle tennis, basketball, volleyball and an endless list. In addition, I like watching series, films, playing video games and listening to music. In fact, when I was a child I played the guitar and the accordion for some years.

About my future, I don’t know what I am going to study yet. I think that is something difficult to decide and I hope that next year I will make a decision because certainly I would study in the university. According to live in the USA I want to live there first to improve my English because I think that it is a very important thing in this world that using it you can communicate with people from all over the world. Also to learn about a new culture and open my mind. In addition I would like to meet new people around the world, travel, and try new things like different sports and food. Finally I believe that this experience will help me grow as a person and become more independient.

Spending time with my family and friends it is an activity that I love. I like to go for a walk with them, eat at a restaurant, hang out in a café, or talk. I also enjoy being in nature and hikes. A thing that I love and I am very chill there is the beach that I love more if I go on summer is with my mom, grandmother, and siblings. Every summer, I spend two weeks camping with the scouts, where we sleep in tents and we walk about 15 kilometers per day during a week. I love hanging out with my friends too.
