Dear American Family,Â
My name is Kasiet, and I am 16 years old. I have big ambitions and I am open to everything new, including knowledge, experiences, and much more. I come from a large family living in a village, which consists of only nine people: my grandmother, my parents, two younger brothers, three younger sisters, and me. Every family has its own joys, and in our family, those joys come from the evenings we spend together at the dinner table, laughing loudly. I am sure that in your family, too, we will create our own joyful moments together.
As you can see, I am the eldest daughter, and I have many responsibilities. However, I know how to delegate tasks effectively and share the workload with my younger siblings. My main responsibilities include taking care of them and helping them with their homework. Although this is not my official duty, I enjoy passing on my knowledge and teaching them something new.
I am an open person, which has led to the development of many interests. My favorite subject is psychology; I can spend days and nights learning new information if I find it intriguing. I also enjoy writing poetry, swimming, dancing, and singing. Additionally, I love board games. Public speaking interests me just as much as psychology. I enjoy reading books, from captivating novels to motivational literature. Meaningful films and documentaries are an essential part of my life. I love watching movies that match the seasons; in the fall, I prefer old, atmospheric films, whereas in the spring, I enjoy something new and light-hearted.
I may not have many friends, but we are very close. With my close friends, we usually play volleyball and board games, and we practice communicating in English, as we are all learning languages. We like to cook together and share meals while having fascinating conversations on various topics. We often discuss our futures and sometimes even plan them together. Conversations with them always end with new ideas, motivation, and different perspectives on life.
My village is located in one of the most beautiful areas of our country. We are surrounded by mountains, clean rivers, and natural beauty that is beyond words. Wherever you go, there are tall trees, and the wind blowing in your face creates a lively atmosphere. Everything is beautiful in our village, and I love my surroundings with all my heart, but I also believe it's important to venture beyond my local area.
This program will be the beginning of my future. I aspire to become a finalist and introduce others to the culture and learning methods of my country. At the same time, when I return to my native Kyrgyzstan, I want to implement the innovative ideas I will bring from your beautiful country. I want my country to be as innovative as the United States. Additionally, I plan to study abroad and travel extensively. I want to broaden my horizons, gain firsthand experiences, and open new worlds for others.
I want you to know that I am an active person who loves to develop continuously. I will happily participate in your favorite activities while sharing my own interests. Living with your family would be a great honor for me, and I am confident that we will grow close to one another.
Thank you for reading my message.
Best wishes!
Kasiet
