Dear American Family, 

My name is Oumoul. I am 15 years old and I am a Cameroonian.

My family is a middle-class family and, in my family, I experience happiness, joy, love and peace. The activities we do together as a family are very important and necessary because they help to strengthen our bond. We love cooking together which makes our household lively and fun. As a good child, I must have some responsibilities at home. Some of these include; sweeping the floor, washing dishes, keeping the house clean and also cooking food for the family from time to time. In general, I try to help maintain a clean house.

My main focus for my family is to be well behaved which I learned from my parents. This has helped me become more respectful and have a peaceful kind of life with others around me. I have several friends, many of whom I consider more like family. These people are always there for me when I'm in difficulties. Some of my friends and I are more like sisters. When we are together, we engage in activities like; playing handball, studying as a group and sometimes cooking or engaging in order forms of entertainment appropriate for our age in a secured area.

As everyone knows, all humans have plans to achieve their goals in life. Some of mine include, completing my secondary education and obtaining my original level and advanced level certificate. After that, I will go to the university and study health science and specialize in cardiology. I'll love to be in a family filled with peace and joy.

From this exchange, I hope to get knowledge and improve my communication skill. I wanted to extend my understanding and build friendship with others in society.
