Dear host family,

Hi ! My name is Loan, I am fifteen years old and I am French. I live in a family house in a small town in the north of the France one hour from Paris with my two parents and my brother. I have a very good relationship with them and we do a lot of things together like going in movie theatre, doing shopping, cooking or going to watch football games in Paris. I am in my 13th grade at school. I go in school in a town nearby to mine, I study a lot of things in my high school like social economical sciences, history, mathematics, English history, French, sport, technologic sciences...etc during 7-8 hours per day. I also have a pet which is a little rabbit although I would like to have a dog or a cat, I love animals and going in zoos since I was young. I am a person who is described like studious, curious, funny and emphatic. I love being both sociable and a person who likes to hang out with his friends. I have many hobbies and interests like sport, reading books, cooking or go out with my friends. I've practiced dance during twelve years and swimming during four years. I also love reading fantasy and romantic books. Basically, when I hang out with my friends , we love going in restaurant, doing shopping, going in movie theatre, going in swimming pool... and the thing we love do with my friends is to go in holiday with them! I already gone with my best friend in holiday and it was great!

I want to go in United States for many reasons, first, I want to improve my English level and accent because in France we only learn the British one. Then, I want to discover an other school system than in France because if you don't know, in France the school is very different than in United States. I also want make friends. And finally, I want to discover your country with your culture ( baseball, American football, cheerleading...), your food ( with all of your fast food, barbecue, burgers...), your landscapes...etc
I want specifically go in United States for the "American dream" because in France, United States is described as the " dream country" with all of your landscapes, the great atmosphere in school with the yellow bus...etc. Your country is so huge and beautiful even if France remains a very beautiful country.

I will dream to do my high studies in an American University like NYU, Harvard or Columbia ( I know it's not possible unfortunately...) and to live in United States in the futur and becoming flight attendant to travelling much because I never had the opportunity to really travel. Of course, I also want to travelling in all of United States like in California ( with Los Angeles, San Diego...), in Nevada ( with the Death Valley or Las Vegas...), in Florida ( with Miami ) or New York ( with New York City).

I am very excited to be able to live with your family and discovering a new life system than mine. I look forward to meeting you and experiencing this adventure alongside you. I am grateful for the opportunity to share moments with you and learning about your culture, while sharing mine! Thank you for your welcome!
