Dear Family,
I’m really happy to have the chance to write you this letter so I can introduce myself to you. Nice to meet you!
My name is L., I’m 16 years old, and I was born and live in a big Italian city. I live with my family, which is made up of my mother, who is an elementary school teacher, my father, who is a cardiologist, and my two brothers. We have a great relationship! We are very close to each other and always try to help when one of us is going through something difficult. Of course, sometimes we have disagreements, but we always manage to overcome them by talking and finding a solution together. In my free time, I like going out and having fun with my friends, trying new things, and spending time with my family and my brothers, playing and enjoying ourselves together. I also like playing video games with my friends.
Recently, I started practicing MMA, and I really like it! It has also given me the chance to meet new people. Another sport I enjoy is soccer, even though I’m not an amazing player. Every Saturday, my friends and I organize a soccer match, and we have so much fun! It adds a bit of healthy competition to our group.
I’d also like to tell you about my school because I know that in Italy we have different habits, so I’d love to share them with you. One big difference between the Italian school system and the American one is that here, students stay in the same classroom, and it’s the teachers who moves between rooms. This helps us build strong friendships and a close class group. In fact, many of my best friends are also my classmates.
My favorite subject is math, which is why I chose to attend a science high school.
Now, I’d like to tell you a bit more about myself, what kind of person I am, and what my daily routine looks like. I’m a pretty calm guy, I don’t really like being in chaotic places. At the same time, I’m adventurous, and I like challenging myself and trying new experiences. On a typical day, I wake up at 7 AM and get ready for school. Once I’m ready, my dad drives me since his workplace is nearby. I stay at school for six hours, until 2 PM. When I leave school, I take the bus home and have lunch with my brothers and my mom if she’s not at work. My dad is almost never home for lunch because he finishes work around 8 PM.After lunch, I usually take some time for myself or watch TV with my brothers. Then, I study and do my homework for the next day or help around the house if there’s something to do. Around 5 PM, I go to the gym and come back home at 7 PM. When I get back, I take a shower and have dinner with my family. After dinner, I either spend time with my family playing games, watching TV or, if I still have work to do, I finish studying. I also like to relax alone sometimes, playing video games. I usually go to bed around 10 PM.
On weekends, I don’t set an alarm, so I wake up around 10 AM, have breakfast, and take some time for myself. On Saturday afternoons, I study, and later in the evening, I go out with my friends or play soccer!
So, that’s me! I would love to get to know you as well, but I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and get to know me. I really hope I was able to describe myself well, and I’d love to spend great moments with you if you choose me. A big hug and have a great day!
