Dear family,

My name is D. and I am 16 years old. I live in a small village in Italy with my parents. I am a sunny, curious, and determined person. I like to face challenges with enthusiasm and learn new things every day. I am also very respectful of others and their habits, and I like to be helpful whenever I can. I am an open and patient person, qualities that help me to build positive relationships with those around me. I strongly believe that empathy is a fundamental value: I always try to put myself in other people's shoes to better understand their points of view. This approach makes me a calm and friendly person, able to adapt easily to new situations and environments. Moreover, I am determined and resilient, qualities that push me to always give my best, even when facing difficulties.

My family is very close, and my relationship with my parents is based on trust and dialogue. Since I was a child, they have always taught me the importance of respect and open communication. There has never been a topic we haven’t discussed together, and every time I need advice or support, I can always count on them. I feel lucky because not only are they my parents, but also the people with whom I can share every moment of my life. We enjoy spending time together, whether it's during meals, outings, or simply at home chatting. Their love and support are a constant source of motivation for me. My family has always taught me the importance of respect, sharing, and being open to new experiences, values I carry with me wherever I go.

I attend a high school not far from home, and I enjoy studying subjects like foreign languages, history, and philosophy. I am particularly passionate about English, Spanish, and German, and I find it fascinating to discover new cultures through language. I also enjoy scientific subjects, as they stimulate my logical thinking and help me better understand the world around me. I put a lot of effort into studying and always try to give my best, even when the topics are challenging.

In my free time, I engage in my hobbies. I love playing video games with my friends and watching adventure movies. I also practice sports: I do boxing from Monday to Friday, which makes me feel good and helps me relax. On weekends or when I have time, I often take long walks in the open air with my dog.

My typical day is quite intense but well organized. In the morning, I wake up early to go to school, where I spend most of my time studying and interacting with my classmates. In the afternoon, after finishing my homework, I take my dog to the park and do my sports activities. In the evening, when I come back home, I spend time with my family: we have dinner together and share how our day went. Before going to bed, I often listen to music to relax.

I am really excited about the idea of having a cultural exchange experience and sharing my life with you. I am sure this journey will enrich me a lot, helping me grow as a person and discover new ways of living and thinking. I can’t wait to meet you and become part of your family, contributing with my enthusiasm and my desire to learn.
