Dear my host family,

My name is Maëlise and I'm 15 years old. I have two big sisters and two little step brothers. My parents are divorced. I also have 3 cats, Tymon, Squeezie and Tchoupi that I love more than anything. In my family, we support each other's projects, we help each other. My favorite moments with my family are during the dinner where we can talk about everything we did during the day.
Everytime I buy new things, I'm doing a parade to show them all these stuff. I like to watch movies with my family. I
live in a little city next to Disneyland Paris. There is a station which takes you to Paris, and to the town where my equestrian center is. There are a lot of little shops like a bakery, hairdresser and a bookstore, where I buy my books. Anyway, I like my little town.

At school, It’s going pretty well. I made me good friends, we also see each other outside the school. I still have some difficulties in mathematics and french, but I’m doing well in other subjects. My favorite subjects are english and history ! To go there, I take the train then I walk. It takes me about 15 minutes. I normally start at 8:20 A.M and my classes end between 3:30 P.M and 5:25 P.M. As soon as I get to my house, I usually get a break, except when I have sport, then I do my homework when my teachers give us the same day for the next day. I do my homework for Monday until Wednesday during the week-end and I do my Thursday an Friday’s homework on Wednesday.

I do two sports per week, dance and horse riding, I have been doing it since I was 3 years old, it’s my biggest passion, I couldn’t live my life without horses. I love animals, especially dogs, cats, pigs, horses and chickens ! I like music that moves my whole body,but also music that is soft and calm. One of my other passions is reading, especially romance, read allows me to escape reality, to work my imagination. Cooking is something that I really likes, discover new flavours. My biggest hobby are fashion and shopping, I like to dress in my own way, each piece counts to make the best outfit !
I'm a person who never gets bored of discovering new landscapes, cultures…, who likes to play games, who enjoy to participate in events, shows, watch movies. I’m active, curious, motivate and responsible. Active, open-minded and always enthusiastic, doing varied activities and sharing happy moments. My sense of humor and curiosity drive me to adapt quickly and create strong bonds. I hope to have a rewarding experience with you.

USA have always attracted me, I love this country and I always dreamed of studying in an American high school, like a real American ! I want to discover this country as much as possible. I would also like to share my knowledge with my host family, to share my culinary, musical, film and historical cultures and my mindset. I want to bring a lot of life and help to my entire host community, my school and, of course, my host family.
