Dear host Family...

Hello, I'm Alécia, I'm fourteen years old, and this letter is for you. I think it's important that I introduce my life.

First, I live in France, I'm a french girl. I dream to travel all around the world, with my family. when we are talking about my family, I will introduce them to you. First of all, my parents are divorced since 7 years. In my father's house, there is my dad, my stepmother and a cat. In my mother's house, there is my mom, my stepfather, his two daughters, a cat and one dog. I love animals, as you can understand. My brother and I live every weeks with my mother, except 2 week-ends by months. My parents get along very well, so it's not difficult for us to always live with my mother because we can go to our dad's home when we want, if we need. With my brother, it's not always easy, sometimes we argued a lot, but I love him. With my younger stepsister, it's really not easy because she has a bad character. With my older stepsister, it's really cool, because we are very different, but she helps me with timidity, and I help her to don't have a too stong character.

I live in a small village, but there is, in this village, a big school. It's really cool because I know everyone, and it's a very safe place. My mother always accept that I can go out with my friends if I stay near. In the village, there is a parc, I can walk my dog when I finish school, and a place with a small basketball and football pitch. I think it's my favorite place with my friends. Something else that it's cool it's that I can go to my friend's homes with bike because there are cycle paths between every village, so I'm independant, and I can go to my different activities alone.

While we're talking about activities, my schedule is very busy. First, I have school every days, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Every monday evening, I go, with my stepfather, to my climbing lessons, from 7 p.m to usually 8 p.m. After that, I'm really tired. On saturday, at 10 a.m, I have my trail run lesson to 12 a.m, after that, I come home at 12:30 a.m, I have to take a shower and to eat quickly because at 1:30 p.m, I have my traverse flute's lesson, and my music theory's lesson. I finish music at 2:30 p.m, after that, I come home and I start my homeworks. I generally have 3 or 4 hours of homework during week-end, and not much less during wednesday afternoon.

I love doing some things during my pass time, I love painting and drawing even if I don't have so many talent on that, I love reading and writing, I help at my house, with the housework. My favorite sport, I think, it's ice hockey or ice skating, but I can't practice because the skating rink is so far away. I dream to do street dance or ice hockey. l love take care of my pets, doing shopping, I love photography too and watching series on netflix.

To discribe my personality I want to say that I'm very shy when I don't know people, I'm benevolent and I'm a nice girl. I want to participate to this program to improve my english, to live an incredible experience, to discover an other culture and an other country, open my mind and to exchange. I'm very lucky to have this opportunity given by my parents. It will push me to be less shy maybe and to trust in me! I hope I will share also my culture with you, host family, I can cook crepes, cookies or some french meals. We will exchange around my traditions in my family and learn from yours, I can also teach you french funny expressions and I hope you will enjoy my joy of living and my positive energy .
