Exchange Student Finder |
Dear American Family,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Rushda, and I am currently a 10th grade student. I live with my parents and four siblings, which make a healthy and energetic family. Things I enjoy doing with my family includes helping my mother at cooking and playing badminton with my siblings.
Growing up in a large, bonded family has taught me the value of togetherness and responsibility. At home, I help my mother with laundry at weekends, iron my own clothes, do the dishes occasionally, prepare dinner for family sometimes and help dust around the house. These tasks have made me responsible enough to stand on my own. It has made me independent.
Beyond my household responsibilities, I have several passions which shape who I am. I love reading novels and literature, where I can explore different perspectives and stories. I am also a sport enthusiast and playing badminton is something I enjoy. I also watch Formula 1 races weekly. I also do daily journaling which help me reflect my day and overcome my mistakes.
There are some people other than my family who are important in my life, my friends. I have been blessed with wonderful friends who share similar interests. We often gather to play badminton, study together at coaching academy and exchange novels which leads to interesting conversations about the books we read. I value friendships and I am always eager to meet new people and learn from their experiences. Making new friends come naturally to me, and I believe by joining your family. I will get the chance to build friendly connections with other people.
The city where I belong, is a place of natural beauty. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. It is a small city with peaceful and calm environment.
I want to pursue a career in motorsport engineering, specifically formula 1 racing or as a software engineer.
Something that I would like to tell my host family is that in my perspective the qualities I have which are that I am kind and emphatic. I have positive attitude around people. I am also adaptable and flexible. I am eager to immerse myself in the culture and everyday life of United States. My main focus is to gain insight into your way of life, learning from your culture and educational system.
Being part of this exchange program is a dream that I deeply cherish. The chance to live and learn in United States, to be part of your family, and to share my culture while learning yours is a great opportunity of life. I cannot really wait to meet you in-person. I am committed of making memory of every moment with your family.
Thank you for reading my letter by utilizing your precious time. I am looking forward to possibility of joining your family in person and making life time memories with you.
Best,
Rushda
