Exchange Student Finder |
Dear American Family,Â
My name is Jiana, and I am a 17-year-old student in the 11th grade. I am so excited to have the opportunity to meet you and become part of your family to maintain our relation beyond this exchange program. Le me first introduce myself and share a little information about my life, family, interests and aspiration.
I live in a bustling energetic city located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It's known for its rich history, warm and welcoming people, and vibrant marketplaces. The sounds of the ocean, the smells of the street food and the city's energy make it a special place that I am proud of to call home.
At home, I live with my dad, who has been my biggest inspiration. He is a humanitarian and entrepreneur, dedicating his time and efforts to making a difference in the lives of others while building innovative business opportunities. His passion for helping people has influenced me greatly, and I hope to make a meaningful impact in my own way. As a family, we have some cherished routines. We love cooking our country traditional meals together, which is always a joyful and bounding experience. We also conduct morning and evening devotions, where we reflect of life and share encouragement. One of my favorites to do is listening to my cousins telling funny and imaginative stories-they never fail to make us laugh.
At home, I have responsibilities that keep me grounded and teach me the importance of hard work. I help with cooking and laundry tasks. I genuinely enjoy these tasks because they allow me to contribute to my family, and build valuable life skills, these routines have taught me discipline and the satisfaction of completing daily responsibilities.
As for my interest, I have a deep passion for medicine and aspire to become a brain surgeon in the future. The complexity of the brain and its vital role in our lives make me feel more interesting and I want to dedicate my career to understanding it better and helping people. I am particularly interested in combining medicine with technology to improve healthcare. I believe that the advancement in technology can make treatment more effective and accessible, and I hope to be part of that innovation.
I have a close-knit group of friends who also share many of my interest. We spend lot of our time together in our school library reading subjected-related textbooks to deepen our knowledge. We also enjoy playing kickball during our sports time. Through this exchange program, I come with open mind to embrace new opportunities, such as learning new culture, share my own, build meaningful relationships.
I hope this exchange program be the steppingstone for achieving my academic career goal in the future. I am grateful for the chance given me and I look forward to meeting and creating wonderful memories with you.
Best regards,
Jiana
