To My Beloved Prospective Host Family,

I hope to become a part of your family. First of all, let me introduce myself. Hello! My name is Keizar Shaquile, and I am 15 years old. I also have a younger brother, who is 8 years old and currently in the third grade of elementary school. My father is a researcher, and his work focuses on the study of earthquakes, tsunamis, and other topics related to geophysics. My mom is a housewife, and she is very special to me; I am sure she is the best mom in the world.

I live in a city with a cool and pleasant climate. This city is famous for its beautiful natural scenery, with many green hills and fresh air. The city is also known for its delicious food and relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to live and grow up. The people here are very friendly and accommodating, which makes staying here even more enjoyable. On weekends, my family and I often spend time together in the morning by walking or exercising around the neighborhood, going to nature or nature tourism, swimming, or going to the beach. On weekdays, if we have some free time, we fill it by watching movies at the cinema or having dinner at a new café we haven't visited before. Those activities help us to get closer and have fun as a family.

When I have free time on the weekend, I like to help with housework. I often accompany my mother to buy vegetables at the local store, and I also help my father wash the car while playing with water with my younger brother. That's my routine, and I enjoy helping with housework. We are an open, democratic, warm, and close-knit family. My parents support me in everything, such as art, public speaking, acting, and other positive activities that I am interested in.

I have a best friend whom I have known since elementary school. We also attended the same middle school and often spent time together. However, now after high school, we go to different schools. Although we no longer attend the same high school, we remain good friends, thanks to social media and technology that allow us to stay connected. We still often hang out together, go to cafes, watch movies, or bike together because our houses are not far apart. We also quite often visit each other's houses.

I have several hobbies that I enjoy. I like reading articles and books, listening to music, and singing. I have been a speaker at school events and an MC for various school events. I have been practicing to be an MC since middle school. I also played basketball when I was younger, especially in elementary school, but now I am not very active. In addition, I have also been pursuing cinematography since elementary school until now, and I have been active in the field of journalism for the past three years, starting from middle school. All of these activities are things I have been dedicated to for a long time. I am a hard worker, independent, good at managing finances, enjoy learning new things, easily adapt to new environments, religious, a bit humorous, enjoy studying cultures, and like to excel in school. Since childhood, I have dreamed of studying abroad. After graduating from high school, I was interested in continuing my studies abroad, majoring in computer science, because I want to develop AI for the education sector. After graduating from college, I want to become a data scientist and work at a renowned company in the world.

By participating in this KL YES student exchange scholarship, I hope my dream of studying abroad can come true and that I can build a bond with the host family there, gain many connections from various regions, enjoy the seasonal differences that I have never experienced before, and acquire valuable knowledge and experiences as well as good culture to apply in life. I hope I can become a part of your family there, bringing new colors to your lives, leaving a good and pleasant impression, and being a useful person in the community.

Thank you,

Shaquile
