Dear American family,

I don't know you yet, but I'm already excited to be a part of the family! And I can already imagine how we will learn a lot about each other together.

My name is Malika, I'm 16. I live in Kyrgyzstan, together with my grandparents, as well as with younger sister. I have a special bond with my little sister, because since childhood I have been looking after her like an older sister. I have two sisters, I am the middle one. As in all families, each of us has household responsibilities. For example, I am responsible for the order and cooking. I cook desserts for my family every Saturday. I will be glad to please you with various delicious desserts. Especially the signature cheesecake.

I live in a small town, it's very beautiful city. And the most interesting thing is that in the middle of the town there is a huge mountain. I will definitely show you pictures of the mountain. I like to walk in XXXXXXX Park, there are a lot of trees there. When I walk there, I feel like I am in a fairy tale.

In my free time, I like to make delicious desserts. I've had a love for cooking since I was a kid. I also like to read books. Books are a little life for me. I also love to swim, because when I swim, I feel like flying. Three years ago I realized that I like to film, take pictures of happy moments, create short videos.

In the future I dream of becoming a psychologist. I like to listen to people, to talk, to support. I think being a psychologist will help me grow as a person. Also to realize my emotions and thinking.

I like to share my experiences. I believe that sharing experience is the best way to learn about the world. At school I organize different interesting projects, such as " "Inspiring Young Public Speakers", "Helping affected families", "March 8" "Nooruz". I am grateful to my teachers and classmates for their support and help. In the future I want to organize a project where I will teach how to make desserts.

I am sure that time I will spend with you will be unforgettable and useful. I am ready to accept your family traditions and help with daily chores. I hope that I will be able to share with you a piece of my culture and make our experience bright and interesting. This trip is a chance for me to get closer to another culture, make real friends and create a deep connection with you. I am ready to help share the joys and create a warm atmosphere together.

I look forward to meeting you.

Thank you for choosing me.

Love, Malika
