Dear American Family,

I'm Aytaj. We are 4 people at home: me, my parents and my brother. There are many activities we enjoy doing together like watching movies, playing indoor games and just talking about ourselves. These mainly occur in the evening because everybody is at home then. I feel relaxed when doing something with them, it takes all my tiredness away. We talk about what happened interesting during the day, just laugh, have fun. I'm so thankful for having my family. Well, as everybody I also have some responsibilities at home. Actually I study about 6-7 hours a day after returning school. I try to help my mother in housework, keep my room tidy. Leaving home, I pay attention to turn off the lights, gas and etc.

I'm a kind of person who tries everything that attracts her attention. This means I'm enthusiastic. This is one of the traits I love in myself: being open to innovations. Therefore there are some spheres I'm amateur like chess, basketball, and volleyball. If I talk about my interests, it's impossible not to mention my passion for books. I'm addicted to books. I just can't live without them. Books are not just for reading them, but living them. Laughing with your lovely character, being happy when she/he is happy, crying with her/him...these are so beautiful that words fail me to express. Oh, when I think about books I'm being so emotional. Let me say about movies. To tell the truth, until this summer I couldn't watch movies longer than 2 hours. But this summer one of my aims was to break this habit, because movies are sources of world outlook in my opinion. So, I searched for movies related to my interests and watched them. Let me tell the result: I watched 32 movies during summer. It was a great victory for me. Let me finish this part with my passion to listening to music. That is a part of my life. While going to school, coming from school, doing homework, going to preparations, I listen to music and my music taste depend on my mood.

Best friends are important and some friendships last forever. I wanted to start this part with these lovely sentences. I've many acquaintances but 5 people I can call friends. We usually go out at weekends and meeting them is like a therapy for me. They make me feel like the happiest girl in the world. We play games, take photos and make memories. I know despite everything they will be there for me and I'll also be there for them all the time.

Now I would like to say about my city. I love it the way so much. There is a boulevard here and it is one of my fav places. This year is the 75th anniversary of my city and I feel proud for this. Well, our life depends on our choices and choosing career is one of the most important ones. It determines our life path. I want to be a lawyer in the future. This is my childhood dream. I remember, when I was 6, I was telling I'll bring justice to this world. Now how can I break this little girl's pure thoughts? No matter who I'll be in the future, my goal is to leave a sign after myself.

Dear host family, I hope we'll have unforgettable memories with you. I would like to gain new friendships, new people that I'll learn many things from and wonderful experiences during 1 year. I wish our relationship will remain the same after my exchange year, too.

Sincerly,
Aytaj
