Dear American Family,

I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Ani, and I am incredibly excited to have this unique opportunity to be a part of your family for the next year as part of the FLEX Program. Thank you so much for opening your home to me. I truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

I am 16 years old and come from Georgia, the country. I live in a peaceful area just outside one of the biggest towns in Georgia, surrounded by nature, yet close enough to enjoy the vibrant life. I have a small family: just me, my mother, father, and brother. However, our pets are important members of the family. We have a 9-year-old cat named Fifi, and recently, he got a new friend - a Labrador dog named Laby.

As I mentioned, my cat is 9 years old, so I've had a close relationship with animals from a young age. As a result, I love animals and enjoy spending time with them. In my free time, I also enjoy having fun with my friends and family. I love planning trips with my beloved people and exploring new places around Georgia.

I must mention that in my family, everyone has their own responsibilities, and I'm no exception. Specifically, I am responsible for washing the dishes, doing laundry and helping my mother in the kitchen with meal preparation. I try to cook more often by myself, as I really enjoy it, especially when it comes to Georgian cuisine. Moreover, I help other members of family to take care of our pets.

I'd love to share a little about my interests. In my free time, I absolutely love drawing and painting, as they allow me to express myself creatively. Painting is something that always makes me calm and relaxed. Reading is another passion of mine-I love immersing myself in books, whether it's a foreign or Georgian classic literature. Along with that, I enjoy watching movies. I believe that's the best way to rest after a long day. One of my favorite ways to stay active is by playing table tennis. It's a fun and energizing way to spend time with friends. In general, I am really into watching sports, particularly football (soccer). I love watching matches, especially when the Georgian national team is playing. My friends and I often gather to watch games, discuss the latest news, and cheer for our teams. Additionally, I enjoy going to cafes, taking walks, and attending events with friends, including trips to the cinema.

Moreover, I am participating in volunteering and try to be active citizen. I believe that FLEX program will allow me to contribute more effectively to my community.

As for future studies and career, I want to connect my future to medicine, particularly dentistry. Even though recently I actively thought about continuing my studies in terms of diplomacy, I still chose medicine. Becoming a doctor has always been my childhood dream, driven by my passion for science, biology, and chemistry.

Once again, I am excited about the opportunity to join your family. I'm an honest, friendly, warm person who loves meeting new people. I am also quite a shy person, although I have a good sense of humor (Though my brother disagrees). I believe that this exchange will help me grow personally and to contribute positively to your family with kindness and respect. I look forward to sharing my culture with you, creating unforgettable memories, and building a strong bond that will last a lifetime. I am eager tobegin this amazing journey with you.

Warm regards,

Ani.
