Dear American Family,

My name is Xenia, and I am excited to introduce myself to you as I prepare for this wonderful exchange experience! I live with my parents and my twin brothers. We enjoy spending time together by having family movie nights and eating out at diners. We love to explore new places whenever we can as well. Also, each weekend we try to spend as much time together as possible, so we cook something or we play a board game. At home I have my own responsibilities. I believe that helping around, not only keeps a clean house but a happy one as well. My tasks include doing the laundry, make up the beds, clean out the bathroom, vacuum and wash the floors. I clean the fridge, fold the clothes and wash the windows.

Beyond my family life, I am very involved in civic activities. I am part of the school council where we discuss the issues that affect our school and community. I also volunteer for different projects such as organizing events, helping at orphanage and retirement home. I find these activities very rewarding because they allow me to contribute with a positive impact in my town and change things into good even a little bit. Besides all of that I love to read books, spending time outside, and also going to football (soccer) matches with my friends. If we're talking about my friends, I love them so much, they were with me not only in my happy moments but also in the sad ones when I needed support and encouragement. Together we go to concerts, festivals, picnics and study sessions. We live in a rural area that made me appreciate the peacefulness at the maximum. However, my life evolves around my small town where I did and continue my studies at the high school. We have two parks, cafes, two diners, and a few restaurants.

Looking ahead, I am eager to learn more about corporate law and diplomacy. I want to study corporate law because it combines my interest in business with also understanding the laws that help companies succeed. I am as well excited about studying diplomacy because it helps me understand how countries work together and how this affects international business. By learning about both areas, I hope to help companies and governments communicate better and solve their problems. Something to know about me is that I am a girl with many aspirations and dreams, determined to achieve what I want. I am a very curious and open-minded person. I love exploring new cultures and I'm always excited to try new things. I have a great sense of humor and really enjoy making people laugh. I am also a very caring girl who loves to help others. I am looking forward to share my Moldovan culture with you including my favorite traditions, foods and music. I believe this exchange will allow to create an unforgettable bond between us and also our cultures.

From my exchange experience, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of you culture and the daily life. I want to improve my English, because I always think there is always space for better. I strongly believe this experience will help me grow both personally and professionally, and I hope to make lasting friendships with people from diverse backgrounds. Ultimately, I want to take back with me valuable experiences and knowledge that will help me in my future career and also daily life.

Thank you for considering hosting me. I look forward to meeting you, sharing my experiences and creating wonderful memories together.

Best regards,
Xenia
