Dear American Family, 

Hello! I'm Silviu, i'm 16 years old, I live in Romania and I'm very excited about the opportunity to be part of your family during my exchange year.In this letter I would like to tell you a little about myself, my life and my family.

I live with my parents, my mother is 49 years old and works at the local bank, my father is 50 year old and he's a firefighter, and older brother, which is 21 years old and is currently a student. We enjoy spending time together doing activities such as cooking, taking walks in nature and playing board games, we also ocassionaly go and visit turistical attractions from our country.

At home I have several chores, for example washing the dishes, watering the plants, cleaning the table and feeding the pets I also help my parents with whatever they do if I can do so, having a somewhat strict chores system helped teach me the importance of responsability and cooperation.

I have many interests.I love listening to music, making computer related stuff such as projects and little games.I also enjoy sports, especially calisthenics and the gym.I also love spending time in nature, walking with others or by myself, exploring whatever nature has to offer.

About my friends and I, we enjoy spending time together whenever time allows that, we do things such as going to the movies, going to the gym together, playing different sports, my favorite sport to play with my group of friends is ping pong.The city I live in it's quite small but it has a lot of things to do.It has beautiful and livefully people, a beautiful and well organised market, a fantastic park and lots of local restaurants, but the thing I do love the most about my town is the nearby forest, which is a natural landscape beauty.

For my future, I don't really have a set goal in mind, but I have a strong inclination towards being a police officer.I'm very eager to learn about how the world works and I want to have a positive impact on it.

I consider myself a responsible and ambitious person.I like to plan things ahead and I always try to fulfill what I plan to do.Additionally, I love animals and I consider them a blessing for us humans.

I always wanted to visit the U.S.A and I am very excited about the opportunity to live with you!I am looking forward to this program not only to learn more about the American culture but also to expand on my english knowledge, to become more independent and\ to develop personally and professionally.I also hope to share my experience and my culture with you and I can't wait to create beautiful memories together.Thank you for reading my letter and I can't wait to be a part of your family!
