my name is D, I have two sisters much older than me. they live in a big city far away from me so I don't see them often but usually every summer we go to this city that is near the sea so we can see them to spend maybe a week or two, if we don't go to them they usually come to us who live in a town near the mountains so when they come they see an almost completely different climate and then they can come to visit one of the biggest Italian cities from us even bigger than theirs. Besides them my family is made up of my father and my mother who I love very much and who push me to follow my dreams like the year abroad that I really hope to realize because it is one of my biggest dreams since I was a kid, also because I hope one day to go and live in the united states of America.

since I was a kid I always dreamed of going to live in the united states of america for various reasons I love american music in fact my favorite singers are tyler the creator, kanye west, and also childish gambino but besides singer raps I love rock in fact I am a big fan of gorillaz beach, weather queen, led zeppelin (even though they are a bit old) and pink floyd. but it is not only the music that fascinates me about the united states of america but also the climate and geography many more open spaces and plains compared to where I come from; I love the ocean in general and I prefer it to the sea (even if it is cold) and I hope to be able to see some nature during my program. as I said before I love music in fact I am trying to learn the drums but besides that I hope to be able to learn the piano and also the guitar both electric and acoustic it makes no difference as long as I know how to play it. besides playing my other hobbies are watching movies: I don't have favorite genres even if my favorite sagas are star wars, lord of the rings, and marvel movies in general (besides these I generally love christopher nolan and stanley kubrick movies). I also love cooking as a good italian which I am even if I'm still a little inexperienced for now I'm focusing on meat and pasta, maybe then I'll also learn to make some desserts, I also love reading comics or manga like jojo invincible, the walking dead ,and on punch man. finally I go out a lot with my friends we love either going to the big city nearby for the cinema or to eat out otherwise we love going camping both in the mountains and at the seaside: in fact we spent a few days together at the seaside during the last summer holidays where we woke up and did everything at our own times the best part was cooking together because we had a lot of fun.

For my stay I hope to find a welcoming family with whom I can feel even after I leave to have a deeper relationship and that I hope to see again even after.
