Dear future host family,

My name is Noa. I’m very excited to learn a lot about your culture and your way to life. I have looked at high schools in the U.S.A and I am very curious to see how the high schools are there. I’m open to try new things. I love sports, especially basketball, I play basketball on a team and I hope I could play basketball in the U.S.A. If I couldn't be on the basketball team, I would also be a cheerleader, to try new sports typical from there. If I couldn’t be on the basketball team or on the cheerleader team, I would also like any other sport, like soccer, swimming, volleyball…

I’m an honest person. I express my feelings and I am very thankful for having a sister. We play together, we laugh together and we make jokes. When I have problems I tell to my parents to help me. When someone is alone I tell him if he wants to come with us because I hate to see somebody alone and excluded. I am a very polite person because I hate the people who are rude.

I like to meet with my friends. We normally stay in the neighborhood or we go to the cinema. I also like music, my favorite artist is Olivia Rodrigo, I have never been to one of her concerts, but I hope someday I could go to one. I also like the singer Aitana Ocaña who sings pop music (in spanish) and 5 years ago I went to one of her concerts. I really like the food and my favorite food is spaghettis!!!! I like spaghettis since I was a child. I haven’t got any allergies and I love pets. I prefer dogs over cats. But I also like cats. If you have a dog I would go walking or running with the dog. I also like baking, I also bake desserts, but my mom is teaching me to cook. If you want someday, someday I can bake a typical plate from my country or some cookies. One day, I was baking cookies and used salt instead of sugar. The cookies were horrible, but my family ate one cookie at least, not to make me feel bad. I like spending time with my family, like visiting other countries, going to the cinema or going to the mountain. I go twice a week to my grandmother’s house to eat. I like very much to go to her house to eat because she cooks very good and I love her too much.

In the future, I want to be teacher of children because I like very much spending time with little kids. While I’m in the U.S.A I want to try a lot of new things, like making pumpkin carves, try crumble cookies… I also want to go to football games, Target, Walmart… I also want to see how you live Halloween, Christmas and Thanksgiving. Where I live we don’t have Thanksgiving so is gonna be a new experience. As I said before, I want Christmas because Christmas is one of my favorite part of the year.

I would also like to spend time with you like watching films at night, playing games all together, going shopping… and lots of more things.

I would be a great member of your family, because of my adaptability, positive attitude and polite form. I promise to be helpful, respect your home, and rules.

Thank you for considering me. I look forward to the possibility of becoming part of your family.

Regards,

Noa
