Good day

My name is June and I am writting this letter to introduce myself while I am studing in USA. I am 14 years old and I live in Spain. 

I have one Sister who is younger tham me, actually I live with my parents. All my family I see them very often and during the summer we spent together our holidays and we have a great time. We like going all together to the beach, I have a great time with my cousins, they are older that me and they teach me a lot of things.

I consider myself a friendly and responsible person. I always try to see the positive side of things and treat others with respect

I like playing volley I do it in a team a the place where I live , I have been with the team since 2020, at the moment we are the fist at the championship. I play with the team on Saturdays, sometimes near home and somethimes far over 200 km away.

I also like cooking and spend time with my family, we do many things together like going to the mountain, visiting places, travelling or going to the beach and have a nice dinner at nightime. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, cooking. I love making cakes with my mother in the week end. These activities help me stay acive and relax.

At my school I enjoy working in groups and participate in several activities, like music, volley, basket. I have a lot of friends and when it is possible at the week-ends I go out with them, to cinema, shopping centre, to the beach, swimming, etc.

Since I was young, I have dreamed of living in another country, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I want to study international trade, so for me it is very important to get a good level of english as I want to work in a worldwide company in the future.

This year abroad will be my fist time away for home for long time, so I am a bit nervous but very excited. During my stay at USA, I want to study, improve my English and participate in school activities. I understand that living with a new family is not easy, but I am ready to adapt myself to your routines with positive attitude and to participate in your routines, and try to learn as much as I can. All this will help me to grow socialy and as a person.

Living with an American host family allow me to se how people celebrate and communicate in a natural environment. I can also share my culture as well from food, music and traditions.

I hope to became not only a guest, but someone who contributes to your family with respect and gratitude
