Dear host family and highschool,

my name is Julia and im already looking forward to my stay in the USA. Im really excited to learn about your culture, your life and also, what school looks like in the USA. I love doing sports, especially swimming and dancing. I've been doing that for 10 years now. I'm going swimming once a week and dancing atleast two times a week. I would say, I'm always open for new things.

I'm a very comforting person you can speak to about everything. I hate when people lie to me because, I'm very honest. If I go out with my friends I will always make sure no one feels or is excluded. I'm also a very nice person and attach great importance to niceness from other people. I'm always in for every type of fun for example with my friends or especially with my four brothers but I also know, when I have to be serious and how to defend myself from my brothers.

Besides my four brothers I also have a very good relationship to my parents and my grandparents. At home I help my parents with housework and I love to go shopping with my mother. In addition to that, I also love to go on vacation with my family to see new countries, their sights and to gain new experiences. One day I would like to see as many countries as possible and maybe also do a world tour. So I love travelling but I also like going out with my friends. I enjoy going to concerts with my friends, because you should collect as much memories as you can and do what you fancy. That's why I always support my friends in what they do or if they want to try new things. I also love going to theme parcs and riding rollercoasters because I delight in the feeling of adrenaline.

My goals in life are being good in school and becoming a surgeon. That has been my dream, I think since I can think. It's inspired from my grandpa he was also a doctor not a surgeon but an anesthetist and he is my greatest role model in this part of life. In my exchange year I would love to go to football games and maybe even be a cheerleader at the sidelines. I want to see what the holidays especially the ones we don't have in Germany like thanksgiving or the fourth of July look like and how you celebrate them. In my freetime I love cooking or baking and try to do new things everytime.

Thank you that I can be a part of your family and your school.

Sincerely, Julia.
