Hello, my name is Carmen and, in this letter, I am going to talk to you about who I am and what I like. 

My name is Carmen, I am 15 years old and I live in a beautiful city in the north of Spain.

My family is the most important for me, as they are the closest support I have ever had and, despite my mistakes, they have always been there for me. My family is made up of a father and a mother, and two brothers, a younger sister and a younger brother. In addition, I also have my grandparents, my uncles, my cousins who are also very important in my life, as they live outside my city, in a small village. I don't see them every day, but we try to eat with them almost every sunday at my grandmother's house. We do not fail an important dates like birthdays, weddings, etc.

I love animals because they give me incredible peace, although my parents don't want to incorporate this new pet into the family.

I am a person who loves sports, and that is why throughout the year I practice 3 sports: tennis that I practice in a tennis school, two times a week I receive classes. Handball that I practice in my school club, with my friends, and finally skiing that I practice only in winter, but I love it and I practice it with my family.

Another passion I have in my life is to travel around the world and get to know another places, to know traditions, different from mine and from which I can learn.

I am also a very organized girl in the subject of study since I think it is a very serious issue for the future, at school I am doing very well and I have gotten good grades, but I know that I am capable of getting better, since I am a girl with a lot of will.  One of the reasons why I want to travel to the USA is to improve my english and to see how it is studied in your country.  During my stay in the USA I would like make new friends, and visit that beautiful country, parks,  buildings,  cities. I think it's going to be a very important experience in my life and for my future.

I am a very active girl, very cheerful, I relate very well to people, I am very understanding and I love to listen to others when they have problems

Finally, I love to travel to places where I have never been like the USA so I want to know everything, the tradition, the food, the landscape. I am excited to know your country. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
