Hello:

               My name is Lucia and I´m going to tell you about somethings that I like to do and a few reasons why I want to go to the USA.

                Starting with my hobbies, I love playing basketball and doing sports. Another sport  I like is skiing, but the problem is that I can only do it in winter and that my parents don't ski so we don´t go very often. I also like listening to music and singing . But my favourite hobby is travelling and I have been in different places with my family. And my favourite movie is Mamma Mía.

                I used to ride horses and play karate until two years ago but I have to leave this acitivties because I didn´t have enough time to study.

                During the week, I get up at 7:15 in the morning and go to school from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. As I live next to the school, I go home for lunch with my sister and my family. Then I rest for a bit and do my homework, and afterwards I go to my extracurricular activities, that I have every day, this year it's basketball and English classes. I go to english clases two days a week for an hour and a half and I train basketball three days a week for a an hour and a half. I go on walk to every places because in the city where I live you can go by walk almost to every place ,in less than  thirty minutes.

On weekends , usually on Saturday morning I have  the basketball game. And during the afternoon I like to go out with my friends; we go for a walk, have a snack, and sometimes we go shopping. It's a lot of fun. Sundays is a more relax day , some  of them I have to study, and some of them I go to the village of my grandparents  and we like to spend sometime all the family together. In the village there are dogs, cats, chickens.. and also there is a table tennis where I like to play with my dad.

I am not a fanatic of one singer  but I like spanish music and  I like  too some songs of international singers  like Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift. I went this year with my family to a Dua Lipa´s concert and I enjoyed it a lot.

                My favourite season is summer because we don´t have school and it is my birthday. In summer I can go to the beach. I love surfing and snorkel, also, I can go on vacation because we don´t  have school and I can meet with my friends whenever. However , my favourite part of the year is Christmas, because it is special, the whole family is together and we give each one presents.

                 I have a sister, I like to play table games with her and doing tik tok videos, watch movies and TV shows together. I think she is the one I am going to miss more. Many weekends we get together with my cousins, they are younger, and  we have a great time together.

                I'm interested in many different things, but as far as my future and studies are concerned, I'd like to study medicine. That's why I'll have to work really hard in the coming years to achieve it. Here in Spain it's difficult, since you have to get very good grades to be able to study medicine in the university. I like helping people and biology is my favorite subject in school.

                Now I am going to talk about why I wanto to have the experience of doing and exchange. From my point of view, the experience will teach me a lot of things, like how to do things alone. Also I am going yo learn a lot of English and that´s very useful. However the most interesting  thing for me is the culture, how people live. I want to go to he typical highschool dances and to the American Football games.

                In conclusion, I would love to have this opportunity because I would learn a lot of things and I want to see how life is there.
