Hello,

My name is Xabier, I am 14 years old, and I live in a small town in the Basque Country.

I am a very good and generous person. I also relate easily with new people and I do not have any problem meeting or knowing more about new friends or persons.

I have a lot of friends in my town and from other towns near mine. I know most of them in the different basketball campaments I went to in summer. When my friends feel sad, lonely or angry I try to help them because I do not like to see my friends sad.

I love pets but never have one because my parents did not want one. I try to convince a lot of times but I never get one pet.

My family is not very big but I love all of them.

My parents are very kind and good people, and always help me to study, my emotions and everything I need.

I only have one grandmother, but she is the best grandmother I could ever have.

She is cooking every day and she is the best cook in the world.

I have not had any siblings, but I would like to have some.

My biggest hobby is playing basketball.

I play every day and also I play for my town team and basque selection.

Another of my hobbies is drawing with music when I am bored.

My favourite genres of music are Hip hop and Trap and a lot of music in English.

Apart from that I like to stay with my friends every day, because I laugh and I have a good time.

I also like to travel and know more about new cultures, the food, how the city is and more.

I spend a lot of time with my best friend on the weekends and on the rest of the days in the week.

We share a lot of activities for example: Music , basketball , school , shopping…

I like to make and eat pancakes for breakfast.

On the weekends I usually go to see basketball matches with my dad, cousin and uncle. We are members of the local team.

My goals there are to make a lot of new friends, learn a lot of English, learn a lot about the culture and traditions, and one of the things I would most like to do is play basketball there to be a better player .

Me and my father like to watch the NBA Playoffs. Our favourite team is the Boston Celtics and my favourite player is Jayson Tatum.

I am passionate about basketball and in the future I would love to be a professional basketball player.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to have this experience and I am very thankful to my parents.
