Dear All,

My name is Laia and i would like to tell you a bit about myself, I am a bit shy at first but once you get to know me i am more outgoing and funny, i am an a nice person,  I allways try to be a kind person, willing to help others and to avoid negative situations. I believe being respectful and considerate makes ife easier for everyone.

I love my family very much, my mom travels a lot for work, she is a sales manager and my dad is an industrial designer.I adore my grand parents and also my german granny that lives in the country, i visit her and stay at her house a lot during school breaks.I have one sister, she's one of my best friends and I like spending time with her, she often takes me to the movies and to have dinner with her, she works as a sales like my mom and travels a lot also.I have a dog, Nina and I play with her and walk her, I love her so much.

My friends: my 2 best friends from school, Maria and Lola also attend padle with me, I also have Ona we go together to english classes after school, Max, my friend since we were 3 years old, Eloi and Claudia also from school. I feel very lucky to have some closes groups of friends with I can share many fun moments.

My hobbies are playing tennis and padle, also, i play board games with my granny and we have so much fun.One of my biggest goals in life is to find a job that makes me happy, and some day to have a nice family and kids.

During my year in the USA my goals are to have a very great experience learning and discovering new things.Also i want my host family to be very comfortable with my presence in their life and to be able to exchange knowledge of both cultures.I want to have a great experience at my new school, make a positive contribution, work together with others whenever possible, and actively participate in school events and sports.

Some of my passions are playing tennis and chemistry classes, I also love to travel and discover new places, countries, and cultures.I enjoy watching soccer games, my favourite team is Barça, and my idol is Messi that now plays in Inter Miami in the USA.

I want to bring positivity, respect, and enthusiasm to your home. I am responsible and always willing to help with daily tasks, take care of pets, and participate in family activities. I would also love to share Spanish and Catalan traditions, music, and stories from my culture. I enjoy spending time with people and I try to make others feel comfortable and supported. My goal is to become a real part of your family, not just a guest.
