Dear Host Family,

My name is Galder, and I am very excited to write this letter and introduce myself to you. I am applying to spend a school year in the United States, and the idea of living with an American family, learning about your culture, and becoming part of your daily life is something that truly motivates me.   I consider myself a responsible, curious, and polite person. I like to enjoy the moment, meet new people, and live experiences that help me grow. My friends and family say that I am someone who is easy to live with because I always try to stay positive and open-minded, and I like to make the people around me feel good.

I have a very close relationship with my family. I live with my parents and my sister, and I get along very well with them. I also have a very special relationship with my grandparents. When I am with them, I feel very happy, and they teach me many things, which I really appreciate. I love spending time with my family, whether we are doing something simple or traveling. Thanks to them, I have learned important values such as respect, empathy, and good manners.

I have many hobbies, and I enjoy each of them for different reasons. I like watching and trying new sports, and my favorite is soccer. I also enjoy playing the piano, an instrument that I find very beautiful. Another hobby I love is playing chess and different board games because they help me think strategically and have fun with friends and family. I also enjoy going to the beach and the pool, and especially surfing, which makes me feel very good. I love spending time in nature and being outdoors whenever I can.

My goals for the future are simple but very important to me. I want to enjoy every moment and appreciate the people around me. I want to keep learning, discover the world, and become someone who contributes positive things to others.

During the program, my goals are to learn about American culture, improve my English level, understand your traditions, and fully integrate into the family that hosts me. I also want to make friends from the United States and other countries and take advantage of this great opportunity. I am very motivated to live this experience, learn as much as possible, and share who I am, my hobbies, and my enthusiasm for making the most of each day.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for considering welcoming me into your family. I am really excited about everything I could experience with you, and I hope to meet you soon.

Warm regards, Galder
