I am Iñigo. I consider myself a very sociable person who loves meeting people and learning about different cultures — that is one of the reasons why I want to live this experience. I am also a very sensitive person and I am there for others in both good and bad times, supporting them. Overall, I think I am a very open guy, eager to improve in any aspect.

Regarding my family, we are a very close-knit family. We trust each other and we can talk about everything that happens to us — that represents us very well as a family. My relationship with my parents is good, as we all contribute to the household and try to improve our environment and well-being. My grandmother is one of the people I love the most in this world. I love talking with her and going to her house for lunch on Wednesdays. I value both the good and the bad experiences she has been through, because she always gives me the most valuable lessons — the best ones.

My brother is someone I admire a lot. He is an example of effort and hard work for me, because I know how much he works to achieve his goals. He is a very polite, funny, and caring person, and I have shared many of my best moments with him. I also admire my older cousins, who have taken part in this program before and have told me about their experiences.

About my life goals, I don’t have them very clear yet. I am still 15 years old, but in the very distant future, I would love to get married, start a family, and build a company of my own — even though I still don’t know what it will be about. I have always enjoyed designing and building; when I was a child I loved playing with Lego, and I think that creative interest is still part of me. I also want to keep building strong friendships. I am very grateful for my current group of friends, with whom I have a very healthy relationship, and we have been friends since we were little.

My main goals in the program are getting to know the culture of the United States and seeing the differences between life there and life in Spain. One of my biggest objectives is improving my English level to aspire to a better future. I also want to step out of my comfort zone and discover what life is like far from my usual environment, as well as living a unique and unforgettable experience.

Finally, talking about my passions, I love sports. I have practiced many of them, such as soccer, skiing, judo, and paddle, and I am always willing to try many more. I really enjoy adventure and mystery movies. I am passionate about the mountains, and skiing in particular — not only because it is exciting, but because it allows me to be surrounded by beautiful landscapes that give me peace. When I ski, I feel like myself. Besides that, I also love spending time with my friends: talking, going to the movies, playing soccer, and just hanging around together.
