Dear family,

My name is Pepe, and first of all, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to make my dream come true. I am 14 years old and I really want to explore the world and learn new things.

I’m from Spain, from a small city in the land of wine. I live with my parents, my older sister, who always helps and supports me, and my sister, with her, I have a lot of fun. I also love spending time with my grandparents, especially my grandfather. I enjoy going to the countryside with him to walk my dog Bella, a very sweet and friendly Labrador. I really enjoy being with my family, traveling together, playing cards, or simply having lunch at home.

I am an athletic boy because I spend most of my free time doing sports. I play soccer, padel, and tennis. I am the goalkeeper on my soccer team, and I really enjoy our weekend matches. I also like water sports. I love summer and the beach, and I practice paddle surfing.

I also like music a lot. I am part of a school choir that feels like a second family to me. With the choir, I have travelled to many countries, France, Portugal, Germany...

Another important part of me is that I like learning. I enjoy school, and my favorite subject is math. I have taken part in some math competitions, and I always try to challenge myself. In the future, I would like to study something related to math and economics. My dream is to work in something like international business.

I think I am a friendly boy. I like meeting new people and learning from them. I also have a close group of friends that I have known since I was very young. We have many good memories together. I know I will miss them, but I am excited to meet new friends in the United States.

I have gone to many camps where I learned that you don’t need a lot to have fun, just good people and a positive attitude.

As I said before, I love traveling and learning about other cultures. I have always been interested in the United States, and when I found out that I could go, I knew it was my chance to live with an American family. I hope to make great memories and enjoy many special moments. I am very excited to live a different life for a year, and I hope to find a family and build a good relationship with them.
